We are a free public charter school and as such, do not have any tuition costs for families. 

Please note: Before you can be accepted you must do all of the following-

At Davinci Flex we have worked hard to create specialized packages to fully meet standards. If you have a question about a specific curriculum please contact a curriculum specialist.

Our school individualizes this program to meet your student’s needs. Students may progress through levels at their own pace. When your student is nearing the end of a level, notify your curriculum specialist so the next level can be ordered.

We try to make this process as simple and quick as possible for our families:

  • Parent Teacher conferences are 3 times a year to go over curriculum progress and assessment results. Assessments vary by grade level and will be covered in the parent onboarding process once you enroll.

Parents will receive a google form throughout the year to fill out and report progress.

No, you do not need to submit calendars or logs of every activity. Our focus is on supporting each child individually and ensuring progress through the process outlined above. We understand that goals may need to be adjusted to meet specific needs. We simply ask that you stay in regular contact with your teacher so they can help troubleshoot challenges as they arise and stay informed about your student’s progress.

We get grants for a lot of our field trips or are able to go at a very discounted rate. Many are free (or severely discounted) for enrolled students. There is usually a small cost, particularly for non-enrolled siblings and parents. 

The entire immediate family is invited. Unless noted on the specific field trip, extended family such as grandparents or cousins are not allowed to come. 

Lunch is typically split into K-3 and 4-7, depending on location. Parent's pack their child's lunch from home. (Ogden location does serve lunch if parents would like to use that option they can pay our office manager in the front office.) 

School lunch is offered at our Ogden location only, The cost is $2.80 per day and can be paid with cash or check at the office. You can also pay online here. 

We are happy to make individual accommodations for specific children's needs. That may include a half day if necessary, however, most students enjoy our hands-on, activity based approach so much that they want to come more not less! Speak with your site manager if you have any concerns.

DaVinci Day is where we cover all of the grade level science and social studies standards; therefore, we strongly recommend that students attend this day. As always we consider a family's specific needs in all situations. Speak to your site manager if you have any concerns. 

Specials Day is optional for grades K–5 but required for grades 6–7. It provides students with hands-on science labs and elective classes.

The application process for the coming school year will begin in January each year.

All non-consumable materials (teacher manuals and manipulatives) need to be returned when you are finished using them. Consumable items such as students manuals, etc. do not have to be returned. (Rule of thumb: If it has a Davinci barcode on the back, then it must be returned.) 

Families are required to do Math and Language Arts (reading, phonics, writing, grammar, spelling, and handwriting) at home. 

Yes, we provide laptops for each student that requests one.
