K-6 Interventionist

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Part-Time Elementary Interventionist to support students in grades 1–6. This role focuses on providing targeted academic support in reading and math through small group instruction, while also serving as a key support to classroom teachers. Hours are 8-3 Monday-Thursday. Hourly rate is determined based on experience, and licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver small group interventions in reading and mathematics based on student needs and data

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support growth

Deliver progress monitoring and screener assessments throughout the year.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core instruction

Provide in-class support to teachers, including working with individuals or small groups

Help maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment

Communicate effectively with staff regarding student progress and needs

Teaching experience required (elementary level preferred)

Strong understanding of foundational reading and math instruction

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to changing needs

Effective classroom management and organizational skills

Experience with intervention programs or multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS/RTI)
