SCHOOL Board Committees
All meetings are held in the Board Room (Room 209) at the DaVinci Secondary Building, located at 2033 Grant Avenue, Ogden, Utah, unless otherwise noted.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Oversees the review and implementation of board policies to ensure they are current and properly followed. Meets as necessary.
Members: Alex Crowley, Holly Okuhara, Catherine Clark, and Alison Workman
FINANCE COMMITTEE
Responsible for financial oversight for school. Meets the Thursday before the first Monday of the month at 9:00 AM.
Members: Catherine Clark, Simon Post, and Brian Cates
GOVERNANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE
Ensure that board policy is up to date and being followed. Meets as necessary.
Members: Simon Post and Alex Crowley
STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE
Responsible for creating strategic plans to meet DaVinci Academy’s mission and vision. Meets as necessary.

CURRICULUM COMMITTEE
Ensures the academic policy is aligned with the mission and strategic goals of the school. Oversee adaptation of project-based learning and professional development. Meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 4:30 PM.

FACILITY AND SAFETY COMMITTEE
Responsible for all facility needs and resolve safety concerns related to the operation of the school. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 PM.

FACULTY CAUCUS COMMITTEE
Responsible for deciding what teacher issues should be heard by the board. Meets as necessary.

LAND TRUST COUNCIL
Responsible for the annual creation of a land trust plan and monitoring of land trust Funds. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 PM.

MARKETING COMMITTEE
Responsible for marketing, public relations, internship programs and fundraising programs. TBD when this committee meets.

PARENT TEACHER STUDENT ORGANIZATION (PTSO) COMMITTEE
Responsible for coordinating school fundraisers and community events for DaVinci Academy. Meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month, or as necessary.

TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
Responsible for updating our technology plan and measuring our progress towards technology goals. Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4:30 PM.

TITLE I COMMITTEE
Responsible for school-wide title I plan along with creation of school compact. Meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 4:30 PM.

WELLNESS COMMITTEE
Reviews and assesses school student health and nutrition. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 PM.
