JULY 17th PARADE!!

DaVinci Academy has been selected to display our "float" in front of Key Bank for viewing prior to the parade! For anyone wishing to participate in the decorating, meet at the school July 19th at 8:00 a.m. For more information plese contact Michael Burton or the DASA PTSO.

JULY 24th PARADE and CHUCKWAGON BRUNCH!!

On July 24th from 7:00 to 11:00 am we will need volunteers. We have two teams one to go with the float in the parade and a team to stay back at the school and prepare the chuckwagon breakfast. All are invited to participate! Our annual tradition just keeps getting bigger! Come join the fun and get a jump on your service hours. JULY 24th HOMECOMING STUDENT STOMP!

Join your fellow DaVinci students for a night out on the parking lot from 8 to 11 PM! Meet our new students, or invite a friend interested in coming to DaVinci. We are still looking for parent chaperones. Contact Kelly for more information.

AUGUST 9th

We will be doing service for the school including some much needed painting, repairs and cement work at the school. More details will be posted shortly. Have any ideas? Contact the school for more information.

The Utah Association of Public Charter Schools has named the DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts as the 2008 Charter School of the Year

The announcement was made on 17 June 2008 during the the Utah Charter School Conference 2008 held in Orem, Utah. The DaVinci Academy recognizes the tireless efforts of its Board of Directors who continue to support innovation and choice in education, the community of downtown Ogden for its continued support and the families who dedicate hours of service to be an integral part of their childrens' future.

Invite a friend on a tour of the school, or bring them by an Open House each 2^nd Wednesday of the month from 6-8 PM at the school. We are still accepting applications for grades 9-12 from students wanting to attend this year, but are also accepting students onto our waiting list for fall enrollment.

PLEASE HELP US RECRUIT NEW STUDENTS!!! If everyone brings just one friend next year, we will reach our recruitment goal of 350 students! We are excited to continue to grow as a school: please help educate your friends and family about our great school!
