Originally Mrs. Medellin graduated with a Bachelors in Communication/Journalism with a minor in Technical Writing. After working in the private sector she was hired on as an AmeriCorps Literacy Volunteer at Highland Jr. High where she also coordinated tutoring services for the school. After working just one semester she enrolled at Weber State in the Masters of Education program and graduated in 2014 with her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction Design.
Mrs. Medellin's first year at Davinci was as a college facilitator for the senior class, she was then hired on full-time as our Severe Special Education teacher. Mrs. Medellin is on the PD committee, she is a book club facilitator, and she runs an after school club.
Mrs. Medellin has been married for 17 years and has three children (two of which attend Davinci). She is an avid reader and an author as well as a life-long learner.
